Symmetrical Fins

We distinguish between symmetrical bodyboard (and bodysurf) fins (the two feet are the same) and asymmetrical fins (the slippers and the fin blade are asymmetrical with a geometry that is not the same between the right foot and the left foot). It is often a matter of personal preference to choose between symmetrical and asymmetrical fins:

Generally speaking, symmetrical fins are easy to use because they do not have a right or left foot (so you can swap the two feet without worrying about the right or left fin), they propel straight and symmetrically, they are recommended for bodysurfing, particularly for swimming and snorkeling, and also for rescue. These are versatile fins with clean, straight propulsion.
