About this photograph: "Boat trip July 2015... At this time of year the big swells in the southern hemisphere hit the atolls of the Maldives. After a few days of surfing in the northern atolls, our captain sets out on the trip to discover the central atolls. With fewer boats in these atolls, the waves are pristine and perfect. The colors of the sunsets in the Maldives combined with the quality of the waves are a godsend for contemplating and capturing the beauty of the Indian Ocean.”
