Description
The SCIENCE DKS 2.0 PP 2x Stringers bodyboard is suitable for riders who surf almost exclusively in drop knee ("DK") although it also goes prone since its template remains minimally versatile. It is rigid in order to be able to accelerate in DK and "pump" on the wave , it has a "full crescent" tail allowing good grip in DK and channels whose shape is designed specifically for the drop knee . The wide point lower than the prone boards allows you to be stable in drop knee, and have the weight of the body centered on the board in the drop knee position (while in prone while lying down you will have the weight of the body higher on the board and therefore a higher wide point).
New on this 2.0 : The "Ribbed Quad Channels" which allow good grip and increased control.
Flex Science Index: Flex 3 (On a scale of 1 to 10) the stiffest flex being 1 and the softest 10. It is therefore a very rigid board.
