GEN-3 ULTRASPAN
The Gen-3 Ultraspan provides 300% stretch to the suit.

The Eco Pyro Fiber Fabric which is on the interior panel of the chest and Batwing of the Lotus Eco and the Edge Extrême is constructed from scraps of recycled plastic bottles and Bamboo. We spin the Bamboo fiber with the powder of bamboo charcoal which provides antibacterial properties and allows thermal insulation of the fabric.
Compared to other Neoprene, K (Knee) foams at a much more efficient density. West uses K Mousse for all knee pads because of its durability and high strength. There are 3 types of K-Mousse: tatex, plasma and P.U.
S Foam is a closed cell neoprene which is 20% lighter than classic foam, it is made from limestone. Which offers superior elasticity compared to other neoprenes.
Advantages for the surfer: Lighter and warmer wetsuit.
The Glideskin West Trim has greater elasticity compared to the Standard Trims. With its airtight seal, surfing in cold water has never been more of a pleasure.
Advantages for the surfer: + freedom and warmth in cold water.
The Melco WEST tape is applied to all sensitive points of the suit, at the seams and the zip. These reinforcements allow better longevity to the suits.
Benefits for the surfer: more reliable and durable wetsuit.
The sewn/glued seams, generally called GBS seams, are airtight. West uses Japanese glue which ensures superior bonding quality.
Advantage for the surfer: a quality hermetic seam which helps prevent water from entering, keeping the surfer warm.
